Self-regulatory abilities
A set of psychological mechanisms that regulate behavior, emotions, and attention. Regulatory abilities include self-control, resistance to distractions, and the ability to inhibit impulsive reactions. Their development enables the child to adapt to environmental demands and act more flexibly and thoughtfully.
