The ChildLab team is the developer of the ECEC quality assessment tools: the Play Environment Rating Scale (PERS) & Creative Environment Rating Scale (CERS), extensions to the internationally renowned Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale (ECERS-3).

We offer trainings on PERS and CERS:

• Using PERS and CERS for research and quality assessment — for researchers and assessors (including reliability training).
• Using PERS and CERS to develop quality — for educators and administrators interested in fostering environment that support children's play and creativity in preschool settings.
• Using PERS and CERS for preschool system and community development — for decision-makers and administrators.
